Diff oil for a W210 320CDI estate (2001)

I've just been told my the local main dealer that the rear diff on the misses E320CDI is weeping on one side. I'd rather not replace the seals at the moment but would like to make sure there is still plenty of oil in there. Does anyone know the correct oil for the rear diff?

Also while I'm at it. I know the MB gearbox was also used on early Supercharged V8 Jags. Jaguar insist that the gearbox is sealed for life. Over on the Jaguar forums I've seen claims that Mercedes now recommend a fluid change at 100,000 miles. When I spoke to the local service department about this, they denied all knowledge. Does anyone have a reference to service schedule for the gearbox?
