Bigger AMG discs
Discussion
I have 18" AMG wheels on my 320 CDI E class, could I fit bigger AMG drilled disks on the front? There appears to be some clearance to get a bigger disc in. The alternative is to put some better pads in? I just thought the drilled ones would make me go faster due to les weight being carried...

Why would you want to put AMG discs on your car? It has ample braking as it is! AMG discs, would mean you would need the full set up, the pads and discs cost a fortune on the front, there's 4 pads each side on the E55 AMG.
It appears to be more difficult so I will stay with standard discs and get some harder pads.I would go for EBC yellow pads, less dust, less fade and better bite. As a side have you seen the size of a AMG w211 disk ? I could hardly pick 2 up at once and the callipers are almost like 2 callipers joined together with 4 pads each side at the front. Also been recomended EBC red pads as well but have not tried them .
Hope this helps

On a deisel E class, all you'd be doing is increasing weight for no reason, the car really isn't fast enough to need that size - no offence meant - just that the E55 is about twice as powerful.
