1966 Merc 250 SE Cabriolet - where to sell

A friend is trying to sell his 1966 250 SE Cab, I said I would ask the knowledgeable and helpful folks on PH if they knew of the best forum to place such a car. Its in need of some TLC and would make a good restoration project.

I cannot recommend the Mercedes-Benz Club enough. For a car such as your firend's, I would have thought that a sale through the club (website forum and excellent monthly magazine) is the best bet. www.mercedes-benz-club.co.uk. It is well worth the £30 a year annual subscription even if you are joining only to try to sell the car. Finally, a classified ad in the Mercedes Enthusiast should reach a lot of potential buyers.
