clk 320 buying advise

hi guys im thinking of buying a 2001 320 clk soft top is there anything i should look for and wot sort of mpg will i get from this car and are they cheap to run?

Rust is the biggest problem on a clk of that age.check the wheel arches and around the boot lock-somebody tried to px a 2000 clk with me the other day and it was rotten,some also have bodged rust repairs and mismatched paintwork so look out for that also.engine and gearbox are fairly reliable if maintained properly.I used to get around 27mpg when I ran a clk 320 cab some years ago

I believe rust on the boot and wheel arches is quite common.

I ended up stretching for a facelift A209 over the A208.

Rust and watch the electrics as there not very good around that era... well mine wasnt!
