CL420, where to sell?

Hello. I have tasked with selling my Granddads 1998 CL420 and replacing it with a small Automatic and I have a couple of questions for which I would be grateful of any pointers.

Where, other than here and Auto Trader is a good place to advertise the car? Are there any specialist MB websites worth advertising on?

What would be a reasonable asking price for this car? Basic info as this is not an advert FSH, 42K, 1 owner. I was thinking £6,500?

Hi,what condition is the car in? There are several traders who specialise in low mileage Mercedes of this ilk. Try googling Classic Benz, Cheshire Classic Benz or Charles Ironside. If you want to sell it privately then www.carandclassic.co.uk or www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk would be good. The price sounds about right.

Thank you for the pointers, I'll run thought them tomorrow and I had forgotten about Carandclassic.

All I can remember about the car is it’s been garage its entire life and service every year regards of the mileage buy the same garage from new. I’m collecting it over the weekend to clean and check it out.
