420 sec doesnt like getting warm

Hi
I have a 86 420 sec, it runs fine while cold.
problem is when i stop for a short period of time (local deli ect) it doesnt want to restart until it has cooled down abit and then is likely to stall a few times.

I have a feeling it is losing spark when hot. Changed the spark plugs yesterday didn't make any difference and the leads are only about 18 months old.

any ideas?

Hi does this model have a carb? Sounds like heat soak?

Hi, probably best to try benzworld.org and do a search as I have seen similar posts on there before. It's quite a useful site for W126 owners.
