Thanks - yes it has the Performance Pack. It's a 2007 so one of the later ones.

Never seen one that late must be among the last few registered. (says he going to check 'how many left figures')

Sorry to go OT a bit, but how are you finding the seats? Chris Harris said they were the best around ( http://community.evo.co.uk/users/Monkey-Harris/blo... ), so I didn't have much of a test drive (enough to fall in love with THAT ENGINE!).

Having had it for a couple of weeks, I'm still looking for a comfortable position - I think its because I'm about 5ft8 that perhaps my shoulders sit too low in the seat, and are therefore pushed forwards a bit.

Its harder than a rubik's cube!

So far, so good. The bolsters are a little tight for the more largely proportioned gentleman, but otherwise I've found them very comfortable.

I've done a 2 hr trip this week and they were comparable with the RRS this replaced.

I'm replacing my RRS with a c63. Glad to hear it's as comfortable. All my friends tell me I'm crazy to replace the RRS. It's just time for a change now. I've test drove a few c63. Seats are good but lots of rough examples about.

At the weekend I decided to put the wheels from my A45 on the C63 as they'd been sat unsold for 3 months. Im more than happy with the results. No rubbing or fouling either.
Looks great, could do with the chrome around the windows blacking out too to finish it off imho.

Yeah, possibly an area I intend to look at. If i'm going to do that then i'd have to consider the chrome at the front and on the boot too. Hmmm!

Absolutely no regrets so far. Quiet comfortable cruiser most of the time, absolute animal when you want it ! I don't miss my RRS at all.

That looks such a brilliant idea. I might end up with 1 and a half spare Volvos and tempted to make a track car out of them, RWD, lots of tuning can be done cheaply and something different to an MX-5 :-).
Can I ask how expensive it is for insurance to have lots of mods, or can you just include it on a multi car policy based on age and value ?

My first Mercedes SLK55 AMG R171 owned for around a month trying to return the interior to standard as the previous owner went a bit crazy with fake carbon trim and dodgy wiring...

I picked this up on Friday. A fairly low mile 190e 2.6. One of the most relaxing and honest cars I have driven.

The interior is very green:

I took it to a family gathering today and eveyone seemed to like it which is always nice!
