Very nice, I've yet to see a facelifted w204 on the road that must be one of the first?

I guess so?

The handover salesman didn't know the car could stream music by Bluetooth.
He said it was his first Facelift W204.
Very very good specification.
Exceeds expectations.

Wow, this is my first post as I've only just discovered the forum. There are so many nice cars here, makes mine look positively like a rust bucket. The plan is to start here and style them up and keep upgrading with any spare money I have. I hope to get a lot of inspiration from you all.

worth bumping for. Love the red details in the interior, and that leather looks so soft!

You're very kind, thank you. smile

Yup, the red stitching and seatbelts really finish it off. Has the black headlining too, when the roof is up of course.

My SL500. I have had this car over ten years and have covered 186,000miles in it, taking the total to 216,000. It has never missed a beat. It is a great car.

And my 500 SEC. I have had this car four years and have covered 50,000miles, taking the total to 157,000.

Here`s a recent post paintshop snap of the 36 after a bit of tidying ( the `ring takes its toll on the front end !)

Here`s my C36 in Holland en route to Germany a couple of years ago .
I`ve a lovely 129 300-24 too , but it`s very low mileage compared to r129`s at only 134,000 .

I have just bought this for my good lady.

She has wanted one for years and this one is absolutely mint. Unusual colour as well, Circon. Lovely.

That is a lovely colour combination, zircon green metallic over helios nappa leather. It looks so good that Mercedes used it for their brochure. It is pretty unusual, most late 129s are 744 brilliant silver or azurite blue. What a satisfying vehicle that must be to own.

In strange coincidence , I saw a very late model 129 in this colour in Boroughbridge , North Yorkshire this morning . Very unusual Colour indeed and sported the split rim alloys available late in the 129's life span , however they needed a good refurb.
They're a rare sight these days , the 129's .

Guys those 129‘s look great, two very fine examples. I'm hoping to upgrade the SLK to one in the next few years. Annoyingly I'm not at a stage where Its practical to run a 500, but I'm hoping I can pick up my dream SL before the prices get silly frown they are so damn good looking!

If anyone in Yorkshire owns one and wouldn't mind giving me a passenger ride, I'll happily supply cakes, drinks, sweets.... I'll write you a poem??

Another fan here: that's a gorgeous colour, so much more interesting than the silver ones (and I speak as the owner of a silver R129!)
