Two months old and 2,000 miles in to ownership - it's fantastic.







The first AMG (or any Mercedes) I have ever owned, but it won't be the last. I'm totally won over by the big V8 and the character of the car; it's an event every time I drive it.

^^^ That is one gorgeous SL60 AMG.

Mine is now gone, I actually really miss it, but two 6.0 convertibles were getting expensive! Anyway, I replaced it with this W126 this year. It is a 2 owner car, had 50,000 miles on the clock when I bought it and is just stunning. I absolutely love it - the view down the bonnet, the simple elegant interior, the fact it feels like it's made from granite and the wafty driving experience. It is only a 300 SE as I was beaten to the 560 SEL I was after by a pop music type!

I am still on the look out for a clean 560 SEL if anybody sees or knows of one, it is an itch I need to scratch!
