Contemplating a three pointed star on the bonnet as it's all part of the Mercedes charm for me, but may not look right with the sport grille
Just replace the star grille with the luxury grille. The AMG pack w/luxury grille was an option (in Germany at least), and is the purist look. I would definitely not use a bonnet star with the sport grille...This is my 2012 CLS350CDI AMG with 40k miles. Only had it for a month but loving how comfy it is and how much torque the engine has. It was a £54k car new and i got it for £19k so pretty happy!

Yeah very fancy I'm sure, but not economical though is it?? eh??
Seriously though very nice. I think it was one of these I had a bit of a drag race with once on a private road in my 996GT2 and one of the only cars that really stretched its legs a bit -- short shifting at over three figure speeds as pulling up towards it, but only just and still had to work the throttle a lot.

I took my kids to school the other day...drove it like a hearse and averaged 21mpg over 30 miles on A roads. The mpg is not for the faint hearted
Very impressive performance for a passenger car though! And I doubt the MPG is a surprise/disappointment, they were never sold for that as I recall Gassing Station | Mercedes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
