Looking good. I've picked up a couple more Mercs since we moved out of QCG late last year;
Excellent work! Is that a G500?

Good purchases. That Pagoda is a solid gold investment.

Just bought this beauty to replace my old C32.
I am an extremely happy man!
Can I have it back? As you drove away I almost shed a tear. First time I've heard it from outside; it sounded awesome, and the colour of the wheels makes it look so much better!

She is really, there are just a couple of minor annoyances. The sunroof is playing silly buggers, the aircon needs to be converted to 134a (I.e. Modern spec), I'd like to get the leather recolonised.

Really not major issues at all, I'd just love a flawless SEC as I don't think they'll be many left soon.

It's screaming out for a de-chrome in that colour and with that body-kit. smile

You'll notice that the bumpers have been dechromed, but I've been avoiding doing the rest as I feel it'd lose some of it's "classic-ness" if it was all dechromed.

Are you kidding mate? The best decision you ever made was selling me that car! Absolutely chuffed with it. I love the wheels as well. Took me ages to choose the colour. Don't worry Ade, it's gone to a good home. smile
Hope the move is going to plan.

Go for it. It will still be 'of the period'. You could probably get the chrome bits wrapped, so it would be easily reversible.

Nice smile

I've driven a stock CLS63 with 560bhp and it was immense, so this thing....!!!

Thanks smile

It is utterly mental i have to say and the way it goes is completely incongruous given the size and weight of thing. I had a C63 estate before which I loved but this is in another league for smiles.

yes, you don't see many in Red... In fact in years of looking I have only seen one other SLK 55 AMG in that colour. I searched for months for one in any colour other than Silver, and almost settled o a black one, then one day this one popped up, and it was 10 miles away! low miles at 34k and one owner...

Spot on with Portmerion, we stayed at the hotel a few weeks ago, wonderful place, especially after the village empties at night, and in the mornings before the gates open!
