Anyone else struggling to find a C32 that hasn't been to the moon and back, damn these are hard to come by.

It's because they are so good people keep them. I have got 68k on mine and it's hardly run in. Only issues are minor electrical problems which have all been sorted.

Hi SLacKer,

What where the problems? would be good to know! what age is ur's, ive seen 2 i'm considering, a 51plate 61k saloon, and a 03 plate 72k estate, not sure which way to go as they are both the same price £7995 and i haven't even discussed price with the sellers yet!

Well I phoned the dealer that had the 03 estate forsale, and he likes the car that much he is going to drive it himself for the next few months, so now not forsale.

Minor issue with headrest not adjusting - dry joint. The seat control units draining the battery - fixed by using ignition switched power for the seats. The battery drain is a common w203 issue for memory seats. By the way mine has 79k not 68k as stated earlier.

Typically over priced from the dealers, at that price they probably have about £4k profit in it, less prep & warranty.....
These are really hard to come by......

Sharrkey

I've PM'd you, hope you get it.

After 3½ years of ownership mine will be for sale end of next week. I've just bought a Volvo XC90 as our 3rd nipper is due in Oct. It's a 51 plate in silver with only 56k miles on it. When I looked last week at the current C32 market, I came to the conclusion mine was the best specc'ed one that will be for sale(ok I'm biased).

If anyone is interested PM me, I can send pics.

Regards
Alan McLean

No wasn't me, i did contact him last week when he reduced the price to £6995, car had no sat nav, sunroof, parking sensors , was just missing too much for me.
I had bought one on Monday night, spent about 2hrs with the guy, agreed a deal, handed over the cash, drove off and the eml came on.....so i phoned the guy and returned the car, and he gave me back the money, which was very decent of him.. So i'm just awaiting a phone call from him to tell me what the fault was, and then take it from there....

Bummer, sorry to hear that hope it turns out ok. Just goes to show you cant be too carefull when it comes to buying these cars, you cuold have easliy been stuck with that.

To be honest, on a 9yr old car i could easliy live without the satnav as cheap tomtom would cope better, i could easily live without the other options aswell if the car is right, id much rather have a low spec car that drives tight and is mechanically sound than vice versa.

Did you enquire about any others?

Still going for the car, fault was diagnosed at dealership, down to a abnormal lambda measurement reading, apparantly all running ok now, had this before on my M3 so been down that road before.
Hopefully arranging to collect asap, so 1 less C32 forsale.

If you dont mind me asking, what how much did you pay for it? WHat mileage/spec etc?

Do you have any pearly words of wisdom for a fellow c32 buyer?
