Dad has locked his one key in his S-class 2002 boot.
Discussion
Hi All,
My old man is having an absolute knightmare.
The poor guy has one key for his 2002 S-class, and he locked it in the boot.
The AA man has been over and opened the car doors, but the there is no way of opening the boot.
They got a key, which only opens the doors, so the boot does not open, and the car does not start!
A lock smith came over and was unable to open the boot!
Is there any way through the in these cars?
Modern cars and their stupid locking systems!
Cheers,

Google reveals that the manual boot lock seizes with lack of use if it hasn't been greased during servicing, spray some WD40 or similar into the lock and wiggle the key in the mechanism to see if it frees it up.

I locked my one and only key in the boot of my E class, here's how I got it:
The remote boot release button (on the dash) is inoperative when either the doors are unlocked without using the remote fob or the alarm is triggered. However you can "trick" the button.
Disconnect the battery and reconnect whilst pressing the boot release button. There is a very short period of time before the alarm re-arms, and the boot release button is active. Took at least 3/4 attempts on mine. Hope the S class is similar.

Taking your V5, passport and a fat wallet to a main dealer and buying a new key is the best bet.
