Silly quotes on my W129 renewal. Can anyone recommend a good company that doesn't start with the words "Adrian Flux"

Bell, they are part of Admiral so get a quote from them too and play them off against each other. Always been cheapest for me by a couple of hundred quid and I'm insuring a R129 SL500 too.

Down your way = Peter Best - worth a try, came out trumps for me. Everyone's circumstances are different though.

Admiral look after me only a 320SLK but 195 smackers. Just renewed and noticed insurance have risen this year on the wife's MX-5 the lads S2000 also. Last year my SLK was 169 squid

Another one for Bell- a clear £500 less than the next cheapest quote last renewal. Someone there obviously appreciates an SL500 (or perhaps doesn't appreciate what it can do!)

+1, they were the best for me too. They even beat Aviva who underwrites the Mercedes insurance.
