SL Navigation Help

Can anyone please advise me how to get the *&^*$* little arrow on my navigation to go the way I am going. I have looked in the manual even with just the map on I am going the wrong way, it drives me mad.

Do u have the cd based nav? What year is the car.

Yes I think it is CD based, it's an 02/52 Thank you.

Do you mean you want the arrow to stay in the middle of the screen, with the map scrlling around underneath, or are you having trouble getting the arrow to point in the direction you are travelling?

I want the arrow to point in the direction I'm traveling, if it can be done.

I've had a look through the settings on my nav (54 plate SL) and I can't really find anything to help I'm afraid. There is an option to 'always point north' but that only seems to affect the map orientation, the arrow on mine points in the direction of travel...

Could it be a duff direction sensor? Does your digital compass still work?

Thank you for looking and trying. I have managed to get the arrow to point the direction I am going on the ordinary map setting but when I use the Nav it doesn't. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

When u r navigating you have a small window to the left and the third icon down looks like a compass needle if you select this and press with the right knob it toggles from North to direction of travel. If you cannot see the icons then just press the right knob in and it will appear. This little window does timeout after a few seconds.

By the way I have a 2010 cd.
