Bloody loud is the answer, and here is the final evidence. Readings were taken from a distance of about 1 umbrella length, in line with the exhaust. Just for fun before the technical people out there indicate that we should measure it differently...:-

Tuscan S6 BS02 TVR = 133.8 dB

T350c S6 JD03 TVR = 135.5 dB

Chim 5.0 T3 RWT = 128.0 dB

350i Wedge A845 NBW = 121.0 dB

Chim 4.0 J5 WCD = 124.8 dB

400 SE Wedge G959 TMB = 126.9 dB

S series (V6) E150 KUW = 115.9 dB

450 SE Wedge H89 XNW = 125.0 dB

350 SX Wedge F973 DCW = 130.5 dB

Chim 5.0 P386 XRG = 126.3 dB

So the title of 'loudest TVR at BNG 08' goes to that fantastically offensive T350c reg JD03 TVR.. thumbup

Those results were from the 2009 BNG in Gateshead and it's open to anybody. No Cerbera's because none entered. Would have been interesting to see what a 4.5 decatted Cerb would have done....

I think the 2010 results are on the TVRCC site somewhere.

Cheers

Paul
