Hi
I have a question for Hughesie2
I know it was many moons ago but did you ever get a fix on your selespeed issues
Mine has exactly the same symtoms as yours skipping from 2nd to 5th and only when warm!!!
I bought privatly and obviusly when i test drove the car all was fine, took it for its first long drive last week and it really started playing up as i was attempting to overtake a lorry!

all worrying stuff that chaps ... I am looking at a 2006 JTS 2 litre Lusso with Sspeed, 67K on clock, FSH.

Wondering if it would be better to go for a V5 Toledo

Anyone have an idea how much the Sspeed is to repair when it does go awry?

How much to repair? The quick and simple answer is shed loads! But the real problem in my experience is that in a few half-dozen months you will have to pay it again, and then again....

Seriously I'm an Alfa fan and I'm in the motor trade but I would never, ever buy a selespeed.
