Very Ferrari - like! Need a shot of the whole dash in context.

Have always wondered about having the grey bits (centre console and ashtray cover) on my GT altered to a satin carbon black or grey texture.
Could it be done? What was the cost of yours roughly please?

Place I used can do virtually anything you want in terms of colours / patterns etc. I chose a gloss finish as its the most durable, was considering matt / satin but was advised that if its cleaned regularly it tends to end up looking like a gloss finish anyway

The instrument surround, centre console, gear surround, mirror switch surround and ashtray lid cost me £130

Cheers, with the re-trimmed wheel, the parts carbon dipped and the headlining done in black I now have the interior pretty much as I want it

Very nice.

I really miss my old GTV V6, they are very special cars.

Wondered whether I might regret getting another, as I have such fond memories of my last. It looks like ownership of a GTV again is not such a bad idea. Enjoy your bella!

Not so sure about the dials. Did you change those for any particular reason?

Just to liven up the interior - I love the look of them when they are illuminated - not so much when they are not

Some changes completed, others arranged

The carbon dipped items are now fitted

Carbon plenum intake ordered

Replacement intake runners ordered that will be re-chromed

Booked in for a re-paint of bonnet and front bumper using the bodyshop I have used for a few years now - not a cheap job, items will be removed and fully stripped down

And finally, booked in for a new clutch, lightened flywheel and a Quaife diff

Mid-Summer should see me in possession of my perfect GTV

Bit of an update.

Recently got car back from a bonnet and front bumper respray so today decided to do some little jobs

Fitted the carbon fibre airbox that I have had for a few weeks, spruced up some underbonnet components (front injector rail, top engine mount bracket, replaced expansion tank)

Treated paintwork to a layer of AB Abyss spray sealant, not the easiest to apply but pleased with the results

A picture paints a thousand words as they say

Lightened single piece flywheel, GTa clutch and Quaife diff, plus a new radiator

Drive of car is transformed, revs much more quickly and freely and the levels of grip is now astonishing

Wish I'd done it twelve months ago - all GTV V6s should have a Quaife

First thing I did when I got my Cup was to take it to my Alfa specialist and get him to do the Q2/GTA clutch/solid flywheel upgrade. Makes a huge difference and should, as you said, be standard fitment biggrin

About £1400 all in supplied and fitted (Q2/GTA clutch/solid flywheel). Not sure how easy/difficult it would be to do yourself. I know the gearbox has to be dropped and clutch alignment tool is needed.

If you're considering doing it yourself this may be helpful: http://www.alfaworkshop.co.uk/156-147-GT-Q2%20Diff...

The Q2 is now rarely fitted, the Quaife is cheaper and their reputation is second to none

They do look nice in red - those calipers need some TLC.
