There is still lots to do to mine - mechanically its pretty much A1 but need to get some bodywork imperfections sorted out this year - thankfully zero rust though

Had a great run out last Sunday with a small collection of others from the alfaowner forum, great weather for driving round the Peak District - 250 miles of hard driving, no oil used, no water used - just lots of super unleaded

After seeing the Range Rover on Wheeler Dealers I thought I'd try on the interior trim of the GTV - I have never liked it and thought it not to be in keeping with the balck and tan of the rest of the interior

Before

Picked these up this morning and very happy with the results

Place I used can do virtually anything you want in terms of colours / patterns etc. I chose a gloss finish as its the most durable, was considering matt / satin but was advised that if its cleaned regularly it tends to end up looking like a gloss finish anyway

The instrument surround, centre console, gear surround, mirror switch surround and ashtray lid cost me £130

That looks great, especially with the re-trimmed wheel thumbup
Cheers, with the re-trimmed wheel, the parts carbon dipped and the headlining done in black I now have the interior pretty much as I want it

Not so sure about the dials. Did you change those for any particular reason?
Just to liven up the interior - I love the look of them when they are illuminated - not so much when they are not

Some changes completed, others arranged

The carbon dipped items are now fitted

Carbon plenum intake ordered

Replacement intake runners ordered that will be re-chromed

Booked in for a re-paint of bonnet and front bumper using the bodyshop I have used for a few years now - not a cheap job, items will be removed and fully stripped down

And finally, booked in for a new clutch, lightened flywheel and a Quaife diff

Mid-Summer should see me in possession of my perfect GTV

Bit of an update.

Recently got car back from a bonnet and front bumper respray so today decided to do some little jobs

Fitted the carbon fibre airbox that I have had for a few weeks, spruced up some underbonnet components (front injector rail, top engine mount bracket, replaced expansion tank)

Treated paintwork to a layer of AB Abyss spray sealant, not the easiest to apply but pleased with the results

A picture paints a thousand words as they say

Lightened single piece flywheel, GTa clutch and Quaife diff, plus a new radiator

Drive of car is transformed, revs much more quickly and freely and the levels of grip is now astonishing

Wish I'd done it twelve months ago - all GTV V6s should have a Quaife

The Q2 is now rarely fitted, the Quaife is cheaper and their reputation is second to none

Sold to first person to view within 24 hours of being advertised - end of my Alfa ownership and nothing currently in the range that makes me want to stay loyal to the brand - GTV was a high point which the Brera never matched (for me anyway)
