weird noise coming from my GT...

OK, so I have the car now for just about a month and have done about 2k miles (all highway by the way)
The car is a 2lt JTS with a selespeed box. The noise is noticeable when I lift my foot from the gas pedal after acceleration and only when a gear is engaged (not when in Neutral). It will typically last for a couple of seconds and is not particularly loud one (with the windows closed is bearly noticeable).
Anyone experienced that before? Any guidance would be much appreciated.

It sounds like a mechanical noise, is a bit of a rattle but not something that reaches the cabin, you can only hear it. It is as if the exhaust is a bit loose but took to a shop yesterday and we checked it under and we found no obvious issues.
I can only hear it when on move with a gear engaged after the acceleration as the engine slows down to lower rpm but is not a sound from the engine for sure (as in that case I would be able to replicate in Neutral).
