I had cause to tow the Junior yesterday and thought life would be a whole lot easier if it had a towing eye (I have to anticipate that there will be many more towing occasions!) on the front. Anyone know how hard it is to put one on? Its in with my mechanic at the moment and I've asked him to look into it. The ones I've seen have always been without bumpers and the eye is attached where the bumper was. Don't really want to take my bumpers off though, is that the only way? And I know how we like pics here!...

Mine is on the front bumper mount-yes - bumper less - just don't don't make the mistake of putting one on e rear bumper mount - will cause all sorts of problems as rear mount is not structural per se.
Doesn't answer your question but jut saying like!

Push it.
Seriously I once warped the tow rope around the lower suspension arm.......pulled to one side a bit, but was ok and cleared the front valence.

You can tow off the bottom arms like Jamie says. I'm not sure how you could rig anything up AND keep the bumpers because I would think even one of those new dangly strap things mounted behind the bumper would bend the bumper in use.

Yep, I did tow off the bottom arm but as you say, I don't think there is any other way around this. Oh well, worth exploring anyway

Tow point aside..........I'd still rather push my junior than drive a Beemer.
