Thanks chaps, the location is the river Maas (between Venlo and Roermond in NL), tis a jolly nice part of the world.
Engine is a twinny CF2 (155bhp).
I have had various tuning bits on it over the years, but lately I have been going back in the direction of standard.... the major difference are the genuine 156 GTA wheels and some -30mm springs.
Its also got a Ragazzon Alfisti edition centre pipe on it, which turns up the sound a notch or two.
I truly wish it were a V6, but when I bought it a 2.0 was all I could stretch to. If the engine ever goes pop ill be shoving a 2.0 Turbo in it from a Fiat Coupe.
I'd love a v6, but the insurance was eye watering for me, making it an impossible option.Engine is a twinny CF2 (155bhp).

As for that Maserati, it does look fantastic in that colour. Cant imagine how much it costs, but im sure their would be other cars i'd rather have at that price.

What would you buy instead for that dosh?
I cant think of any current hypercars that Id really like, the Zonda RS760 is pretty tempting though...
Sorry for the late reply, ive been busy with work.
For a million squid hmmmm....you could get a whole host of different cars. F40, LP-670, GT3 and Stratos maybe. Or if you were talking about buying one car with a million squids then the Maser' is a good shout. But you could buy the Mclaren MP4 Can-am for a few hundred grand, come to think of it you could probably have as much fun in an Ariel Atom or a Caterham.
I wish i was really in the position to choose

Its rather tricky, I think I might have to go to Zagato and get a one off made, although I don't think 1mill will cut it! For a million squid hmmmm....you could get a whole host of different cars. Ive got a thing for lambos recently, always have, but the LP570-4 Superleggera seems like such a great everyday supercar, such a special car, and shouldnt be too focussed to be a pain.
Although perhaps I could get a 550-2 with all the nice CF bits from the superleggera...

Ahh yes very nice, but not in that colour perhaps! Does that only come with an automatic?
Ive just found out that i can insure a RS4 B5 for the same as the Abarth, feeling rather chuffed
I like the colour, normally I go with default Fantuzzi black on most cars, but I might be tempted to get one in white, Gallardo's look stunning in white, especially with the cf front.Ive just found out that i can insure a RS4 B5 for the same as the Abarth, feeling rather chuffed
Very art deco.
Do you want an estate now? Have you got a girl pregnant or bought a dog?
The b7 rs4 saloons looked insanely good, as do the a5s, lovely lines on some of the audis.
Insurance is a jolly funny thing, Scuderias the same as focus ST's, 1.2 clios are the same a v8 mercs - no logic to these things!
On the Italian and great side of things, the 458 special - what do you think of it? Not a fan of the looks but rather impressive from all I've read.
Strangely the most impressive thing to me was that with 594 bhp from a n/a 4.5litre v8 the co2 was 275- that's mental.
Further more the f12 is only 350, with 700+ bhp from a 9000rpm v12!
I am sad I know...

No nobody's pregnant and unfortunately i don't have room for a dog. Ive just always liked the look of them though (RS4's not dogs). I think its the idea of an estate that can achieve 0-60 in less than 5 sec's, its just an insane concept. Very art deco.

I drove the Abarth at lets say some 'interesting speeds' down through the single track country lanes to my parents house last night. It occurred to me when i had arrived and sat down for a cup of tea, that it wouldn't have mattered what car i was in, be it a Lambo or the like, that i couldn't have gone any faster. For everyday driving its fast enough for what i need. So with that in mind i probably wouldn't get the RS4, despite how tempting it might be. Apart from the tiny boot, the A500 is fine for me in pretty much every respect.
The bloke i bought my exhaust from had sold his Abarth for an RS6. It had been re-mapped and had a Miltek exhaust fitted, achieving 510BHP on the dyno. He said on the motorway it was more comfortable and refined, but as soon as you hit twisty B roads it just wasnt as much fun as the Abarth.
I think its good to appreciate what you have sometimes, so for now the Abarths staying put.
As for the 458, well my only source of info for it is this..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry_Ywh8I9-4&list=PL32917AB9DF8D1D9C&feature=c4-overview-vl
It seems outstanding to drive. I'd happily own one, but i expect a MP4 12-C would be easier to live with and probably just as good to drive. I actually think the 430 Scud in the vid was better looking too.
The Co2 figures for it are amazing, that would make it cheaper to tax than the RS4!!!

I prefer the scuds looks as well, pretty awesome looking car, 458 speciale seems so much more complete than the 458 from all accounts, still don't like the speciales looks though.
