Yes the 695 commands mega bucks! Around 20-30k for a good replica. A real one? God knows.

You mock, but you know in your heart that Black paint with Purple Alcantara seats is the best combo for any car.
Imagine the leather deep dark purple, in side a black 8c. Its perfect. Id keep the leather in the 8c. Classy...

Im the same, not a black car yet! The elise must be black check this out, looks gnarly.
I always go after curvy cars, and I find that black suits that shape better than most colours. Plus black just looks mean and rather tasteful.
I was playing on the Abarth website configing a 500, just the standard 135bhp, with black paint and red strip it was a mental price of 16k!
So i went to Stanford Hall today for the Italian car day and i took some snaps...

One of the highlights of the day was this delightful little Sud. It's not a car ive ever paid attention too. It seems to be the beginning of the era when Alfa's became less interesting to me, but today in that colour it just looked right.

He brought his dog in the passenger seat too!

dinkels pics are ace as usual! Really awesome stuff. The Abarth 2litres were the only things that rivalled the big block v8s when I was a Silverstone classic!

1) Both the Abarth and its owner is mental. But if we're honest all owners are abit off aren't they...
2)That powder blue abarth with the Orange is brilliant, love it, don't think Im brave enough to spec it myself, but its stunning.
3) Im guessing cooling, or as some form of serious protection
4)Nice close up pics of the grale. Serious want for one.
5) What did you think of the 4c in the metal? Did the sound still disappoint?
6) I really want a black 500 now...

The 4c was an interesting one. Whenever i saw pics or videos of it i couldn't help but marvel at how beautiful it was. However having seen it in the flesh i couldn't help but feel it was totally out staged by the older Alfa's. In particular the Juniors that were there just looked on another level of beauty. 6) I really want a black 500 now...
The interior was as dreary as it looked in the press shots. The PR man stood next to it told me it weighed 895kg's too.....
The sound was certainly very racey, actually sounded quite good. Or at least i thought it did until while revving it for the crowd a Ferrari California arrived and the owner gave it a blip of the throttle. The 4c's turbo was no match for that 4.7 V8. I may have had a trouser accident.
Get the Abarth, you know it makes sense.
As for that red Maser' above, i saw one of those at Stanford too. I think it was the cup version. Ill be honest it looked boxey and rather ugly. Imagine it had a different badge, such as Buick, nobody would look twice.

Alfa Romeo 33TT3, the 1972 Targa Florio winner: 660 kgs and the 440 brake 3 litre V8. Alfa won the 1971 TF with Dutch ace Toine Hezemans and Scicilian LM winner (1964) Nino Vaccarella. Nino won the TF in '65, '71 and '75.
FIAT Otto Vu: only 3 Demon Rouge (1952) cars were made. One of the more desirable FIAT cars. 114 were made.
Prince Bernhard special green Ferrari 500 Superfast Speziale, only 37 of these. He swapped the 5 litre for a 4 litre.
Enzo Ferrari: "Aerodynamics are for people who can't build engines." Mmmmh, he said that before he did the 250 GTO LM cars.
Only 120 350 GT cars were built and achingly pretty.
Gorgeous blue 1933 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Le Mans Touring wheighs only a mere tonne. And with a capable 2.6 straight 8 with compressor this thing was one wild ride.
The red 1929 6C 1750 Gran Sport testa Fiassa (Fixed Head) has a 1.75 litre 6 with 85 brake.

With a 0-100 mph in 16.3 secs, this was serious competition for the period Ferrari's. All ally body and V12 fed by six twin-barrel side-draught Weber 40 DCOE 2 carbs. Hence the exceptionally low hood line Ferruccio Lamborghini desired. Stunning.
1955 Abarth 209 A Coupe Boano. Basically a FIAT 1100. Ten cars were built and this is the only coupe. I see a TZ1 in there.
The only original Lancia D23 Spider Pinnin Farina left.
