Great Italian car thread

My car when it had 1.000 kms on it / spring 2010.
Today I read 126.500 kms and it has not missed a beat: 55 mpg, 20 ct / km (all costs included), 1st set of rears, 3rd set of front tires ... I think the exhaust should be in for inspection. Stainless for the 1.3 MJT to last her lifetime. I'd recommend this one to anyone with a keen eye for design and performance on a budget. Four wheel drift at 120 kmh? Not a problem. Find a good one and leave the Polo or 207!
Alfa Romeo GT Junior Zagato: Ercole Spada created a 2-seater on a shortened Spider (Duetto) basis. From 1969 to 1972 a total of 1,108 JZs were built.
This sports coupe came with the DOHC 1.3 engine. After 1972 a JZ 1.6 entered the scene: it's a 10 cms longer car and details are slightly different compared to the 1300. Production stopped in 1973 and they were sold until 1975.
Stunning Lancia Gamma Coupe: sadly Lancia offered it with the 2.5 boxer four underdeveloped. It still is a show stopper. I see it as the better looking period AUDI 100.
I still think this is the best sounding Fiat or Italian car ever.

I know it’s been posted before, but what a great car and sound.

Yes. It's about 1200 kgs. There are lighter cars out there. But OMG what a stunning piece of work.
Fell in love with this one when it was in John Bendalls ownership. Roger Wills purschased it in - I think - 2007 and has campagned it here and there.
It features in the GT Racer Portimao Classic. It's a must see and hear: 327 on Webers yum.

Ah right, I knew it wasn't the lightest of its class but never thought it would 'feel' that heavy, but haven't had the luxury of testing one back to back with lightweight e types and GTOs! Its pretty cool to hear how they actually drive from people that race them all over, rather than just swooning over them online, or at an event.Fell in love with this one when it was in John Bendalls ownership. Yeah they are stunning cars, and as you said, sound awesome, spent a large some of 2012 on youtube pleasing my ears with them!
Well ... not every 327 is the same, here in todays historic racing. As you will be aware
I'm not a journalist. Just a passionate petrolhead who happends to like diving into other peoples business. Two or three times a year I pop by a Spa, Snett, Zandvoort or local event. Chatting with the teams has become a habit. It's amazing how detailed they are about driving and peparation. There's no magazine or vid that can compete with that sort of info.
