Hmmm. Very clever. Not.
This seems to happen a lot with various car owner forums. Usually one power crazed person. Wants to rule the (forum) world or something.....
The Mod Team have never had the ability to sanction new applications, as far as I know anyway I've been on other forums where you have to wait for the email to come through. This seems to happen a lot with various car owner forums. It is a problem, though, when folk become impatient and try to join again and again. That just increases the amount of requests.
The forum is owned by a company. I don't think there are any power-crazed individuals on board, present company excepted
AO is a useful resource, but unfortanately as others have said it's falling apart - it just doesn't feel friendly any, more due mainly to over-zealous moderation by people like Paintergirl, who are slowly ruining it. I know quite a few people that have stopped using it for this reason.
Forums are made by their contributors and the feeling of community! A shame for AO, as the majority of people on there are great.
