People wanting to join, don't worry about the toys coming out of the pram from a couple of posters here.

is just someone who couldn't behave blaming the person who had to ask them to do so, rather than looking in the mirror and recognising their own behaviour.Squadrone Rosso said:
It's the double standards of moderation that hacks me off most.
This is rather disappointing behaviour from someone who should know better.Inconsistency = not letting you treat it like a personal fiefdom Si? The only time I can remember you raising 'inconsistency' was when you'd posted spectacularly inappropriately and just absolutely couldn't accept it.
Once you finally get access (and I honestly can't believe the owners STILL haven't fixed the automatic email system), you'll find it an extremely friendly and helpful forum - I've never found another as good. A shame that the odd person who can't be friendly thinks that's our problem rather than theirs.

You seem very sensitive, not an ideal trait for a moderator. Do we need the politics of AO aired on PH? Your post does nothing to encourage others to want to go on AO.This:

I GOT BANNED from the Vauxhall cavalier turbo register, because I'd tried to join because I was thinking of getting one, and you could half join and post a hello thread, but see nothing else, and after 4 weeks I posted that it was a bit crap if you couldn't actually join.
That and the fact that my hello said I didn't have a turbo, but was toying the idea of either a turbo or a V6 with turbo styling.
banned for life. knobs.

Alfahorn you are right, this is not a place to discuss another forum. People have asked for help and have received it. Whatever else has been said has been said out of pure malice or loyal friendship. I'd rather folk didn't feel the need to argue, belittle or malign. At the end of the day I own an Alfa and so do you. Enthusiasts alike we enjoy our motors (most of the time) and that's it.
If anyone else has signing on issues feel free to post them in here. We will respond as best we can, as we always do.
Cheers.

Sensitive to a friend being unjustly attacked I'm afraid. But you're quite right, shouldn't have risen to the bait. Apologies all.
