Becoming a member of alfaowner.com?

Hi

I recently purchased a 52 Plate Alfa GTV. Loving it. I have been trying to register with alfaowner.com and no matter what I do I cannot get them to send me a verification email. My user name is GTV 01 as on here. Tried contacting the mod's but nothing. Anyone else a member who can help me? Cheers Andy

It's kinda falling apart over there due to multiple changes in ownership with the new owners being totally disinterested in user feedback. Even staff & paid up members are ignored.

If you do manage to join, whatever you do don't cough up for membership.

Sad as I was always a big supporter of AO when it was in private ownership. It's stil the best Alfa forum by many a mile though.......

Ok its for mainly 156's but there are plenty of knowledgeable guys on there and the responses are pretty quick.

Too me AO is a waste of cardigans!

I think I am going to give up. Written 3 emails asking for my login and still nothing. Obviously they are only interested if you pay to join. Thing is if I found it was good then I would have no hesitation in paying.

Can anyone post a thread on the site for me? From what I can get access to it looks good. Unfortunately I cannot post / contribute.

I am having this exact problem I have not received an activation email. I have sent them several emails but to no avail nobody has contacted me yet

It's shocking. Even after the good people on this site who are members on it raised the issue, I have still heard nothing.

Have you got any emails from them at all? I don't know, but I'd suggest trying a different email account (e.g. if using GMail, try a different one). I can't check, but I thought it was automatic rather than manually approved.
