Abarth 595 Owners
Discussion
I have a 595c Competizione having traded in my 500c last month.
You say a 595 is on order, would that be the Turismo or Competizone? Both are different ie no Monza or Sabelts on the Turismo.
Hatchback or convertible? Mine is the latter hence the small 'c' suffix. Rearwards visiblity isn't good due to the height of the top when lowered.
The ride is quite hard, but that's the price of having different shocks and suspension settings. Generally no problems but I do think the interior's atmosphere needs lifting a bit - especially the plastic door cards. They are identical as the Fiat 500 Pop.... but at least the armrests are leather!
I hope you enjoy the new car.

I have a 595 Comp with the MTA gear box and Record exhaust. Record Gray with brown bucket seats.
Its quick and makes a great noise, handles well but is a hardish ride, drinks too much petrol and makes you drive like a grinning idiot. The best trick is turn off sport mode and floor it, when the rives rise hit SPORT and the pops and bangs from the exhaust as it kicks down are just hilarious.
If you do a lot long journeys its probably not the ideal car but I find it OK and comfortable on motorways.
No reliability issues or any quality issues so far apart from part of the door decals coming off when I used the jet wash.

I have just tried the 595 Comp demonstrator. Really nicely done. Lot of fun to drive, steering really good, good level of exhaust noise. Sabelt seats look great, but aren't built with comfort in mind. Suspension also pretty hard. I could live with it for short trips, my wife is less sure.
The quality of the interior was higher than I expected. Overall, very enjoyable car, but maybe the lesser versions would be a bit more useable.
