How about a Pistonheads (cheapish) Italian car meet?

Well, why not? After all, we are the only people on here with any taste. Don't tell the Germans!

Maybe at or near Gaydon as it is central, and has a museum of old cars (British cars being the next best thing to Italian cars, French third, Germany, Sweden and Japan not even on the same lap. US: nice trucks, guys.). The Boot Inn at Lapworth is a fine spot for lunch, and is on a decent B road.

I say cheapish, but don't let that stop anyone bringing something expensive and even exotic with a horse, bull, or trident on it. Maybe not a modern bull, as that's just an Audi, but whatevs.

I have a Alfa 33 sportswagon 1.7 cloverleaf it has not moved a wheel in over 17 years now that's what I call classic Italian car ownership.

It used to be, but has improved enormously and now can be very good, as has Italian wine in general. Try some of the stuff that Waitrose knock out at around the 8 to 9 quid mark and you may be pleasantly surprised.

German cars, rubbish, but German Sekt, yummy. Sparkling Riesling. The gits mostly keep it to themselves and it is not exported much, but when in a bar in Berlin and not in the mood for the excellent beer, nom nom the Sekt.
