Hi All,

I'm considering one of these as an economical second car to partner our 4.4V8 Petrol Land Rover Discovery 3.

Specifically, I'm considering using as a commuting tool and nip to shops/town car.

My commute will be about 27 miles each way, of which half is NSL Dual carriageway, and the rest is B Roads. Driving sensibly, I think I should manage over 40MPG with one.

I'm after the cheaper end of the market, so I'd be interested to know what things I should be looking out for (Cambelt interval is 3 years isn't it? how much do they cost on average to get done?)

I'd be keen to know what people think of them, open and honest please. They look absolutely cracking in that dark blue with grey wheels don't they smile

I think anything is going to feel like my old S2000 on polybushes and Tein suspension compared to our LR on its big tyres and air suspension, so I'm not worried about that.

Interested in the upgrades people seem to do to to suspension. Sounds like the dampers are a weak point and people go for Koni adjustables to replace... lovely !
