Had the 147 a year, boot has never opened from the key fob, previous owner made me aware of this when I bought the car.

So I needed the spare key one day and the battery had run out, purchased a new battery and the fob worked fine along with the boot release button (excellent !!)...well for about a week anyway.

Now if I press the button on the key fob for the boot release, it locks the 4 doors of the car - so it works now in the same way as the second button on the key fob.

Any ideas how to remedy this ?

Also, drivers electric window switch panel replaced last week and now the odometer is flashing constantly. Does the car need to go to Alfa garage / independent for this to get reset or can i use an OBD to reset ? (and if so where would it plug into ?).

Thanks,
Nick

You need to get the system 'proxy aligned' to remedy the latter and as far as I know you will need an Alfa/Fiat Examiner tool to do this, most decent specialists have one if you don't want to pay dealer prices. Key problem again could be sorted by a diagnostic.
