1st drive in 1.6 HF turbo lancia delta!

Been restoring my delta for a long time and finally got it on the road legally 2wks ago.Just had the clutch done and lowered 40mm and all I can say is wow!! Don't know what work was done to engine before I got it but it's scared the poo out of me!
Owned Celica,calibra and still got a Saab turbo and this makes them all seem slow.
Very happy boy!

I had a Lancia Delta HF Turbi IE Martini a good few years ago, absolutely loved it. The turbo lag was epic, but past 3,500 RPM it flew. I got rid of it to get the 1st generation Lotus Elise. Wish I had kept it!

As a kid my uncle was a Lancia dealer & I remember him turning up in a white Martini HF Delta having driven it back in convoy with other dealers from the launch in Italy....A childhood dream & it was quick for its time too
