Hi, looking for anyone who owns an Alfa GT to give me some feedback before I travel miles to find out the hard way.

On very, very rare occasions (literally 3 or 4 times a year) I'd have reason to squeeze my 3 little ones in the back.
Would I be able to get a booster cushion, a stage 3 high back car seat & a 10 year old wedged in between them..?

In the pics, the middle seat looks very slim, but hopefully my skinny son would be able to get in there!.

Any opinions appreciated please.

I've had two adults and my 14 year old son in the back of mine. It's a little bit tight but there is more room than you think. I have not tried a booster seat in there tho.....

Thank you - appreciated.
I'm pretty much set on getting one, will live with the odd cramped trip for the kids if it comes to it. I'll squeeze them in somehow.

I've had three adults in the back of mine for a 3-mile journey. The middle-aged chap in the centre of the two attractive young ladies was happy enough, but I'd have to say it was on the tight side of "cosy"

You may find that the problem is that child seats are often as wide, if not wider than an adult, and nowhere near as soft and squidgy

Don't mean to state the obvious here but its a 4 seater car.

Are you willing to risk your son in the middle, no seat belt in a car not designed to have a passenger in the centre?

Thanks Nigel!

Jay...they're listing on Autotrader as 5 seaters & in the pics you can see a middle seat belt. That's the main reason the car caught my eye, I've not seen any other decent looking 5 seater coupes on the market.

Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.

I think that the GT is a 5 seater and the GTV is a 4 seater. Just checked and mine definitely has 3 proper seat belts.

EDIT: The other thing worth a mention is that there is a front passenger seat airbag disable option. Our brat travels up front as it's easier to get her in & out of the seat & there's more to occupy her. There's typically only the two of us in the car though as the missus has a more practical car.

The GT is based on the Sportwagon chassis.
We had two child seats in the back of ours and the occasional adult (feeding, wiping, reading, etc)
Uncomfortable but doable.

Biggest issue will be getting in, it's a coupe after all.
There's enough room in the back for a double pram (plus anything else you will never need) and the seats fold flat(unlike the Brera) when you need to move stuff. Bloody useful car.

Very useful indeed - mine has been used many times for runs to the dump / DIY store. It took me a while to realise that the bottoms of the rear seat bottoms fold down so that the rear space is flat.

Mine definitely has 5 seats.

As said, load space is very useful. I recently had a large framed 29er Mountain bike in the back laying down with just the front wheel off.
