Lancia Delta HF Integrale wheels?
Discussion
Saw this car at Auto Italia at Stanford Hall
Not sure I'd want to drive particularly fast with the extensions fitted, as they looked a bit home-made and flimsy
I'd also question whether the wheel will stay in balance
However, the purpose on the rally car is to direct cooling air through the wheels onto the brakes - not sure this would be required on a road car and in any event, cooling air would best be directed at the centre of the inboard side of the disc, where it can travel through the internal venting

Haha. That's my car (I've only just come across this).
Yep they are designed to draw cooling air across the brakes using the centrifugal force generated by the wheels. The factory magnesium wheels were drilled and tapped to allow them to fit, whereas these aftermarket ones from Italy fit via clamps (and, take it from me, they are a nightmare to fit).
Yes, they do mess up your wheels, no they are probably not legal, and no they are not necessary for road use. But I do a lot of trackdays and hillclimbs, and the stock Brembos were always boiling their fluid, despite using SRF etc. And they do actually work.
I've since solved the problem by fitting Porsche calipers, but I stuck them on with some old wheels for the show (on slicks if you noticed, officer).
