Hi,

Are you still looking for a hard top ?

I am based in Suffolk England. I recently purchased a Barchetta but only really looking to use for summer months.

The car came with a hard top that I am looking at selling. I have just had it professionally painted in Ferrari Nero Black. I had new seals fitted when the rear window was taken out for painting. This is a proper hard top, and I am fairly sure that the rear window is marked Fiat.

Immediately after painting the roof was put straight on to the car, and the car driven to dry store and has not been out since.

The lining is pretty good. It might benefit with a light clean, but this lid is ready to fit and drive. Attached is a picture of it on my car.

They are very rare things to find in good condition. The price I am looking for is £800. But I have to be honest this is not an item that can be posted. Included in the price is a brand new roof stand.

here is the type of stand - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400944525599?_trksid=p20...

Kind regards
Richard Carter

Thanks very much for your response. Our problem is that our Barchetta ( same colour as yours ) is in the South of France and our plans to come back to the UK in a car big enough to carry the hard top have changed. From us it costs about £600 round trip ( including tolls, fuel, ferry/tunnel ) to get to England and back and we have just had a huge estimate for some repairs to our Audi A3 quattro. So, sorry, but for the moment, we cannot buy this. Maybe next year we might have someone driving down to us who could bring it, in which case I shall either post again or try and contact you to see if you still have it.

No problems at all. The best way to transport these roofs is in truth on a barchetta but I was mindful of you being in France, so fully understand.

cheers - rdc

Sorry to bump the thread with a frankly useless reply but if you ever get to obtain a hard top please

paint it a decent colour as last week I saw a silver car, same as mine, with a yellow hard top fitted.

Looked awful.

I don't have a hard top BTW.

Mine's going into DTR next weekend .I'll ask if they have one for sale,I'm sure they could get it sent

securely to France, probably won't be cheap though.

DTR sports cars do have a hardtop for sale.

It's not cheap but I'll leave up to you OP if you want to enquire .
