Any 4C owners manage to keep their carin a normal single garage?
Trying to sort the measurements, and whilst the internal of my garage is slightly wider than normal, the door is standard.

Door opening - 2140mm
4C width with mirrors - 2090mm

In my book, that's classed as 'a bit tight'....

Do the mirrors fold in at all?

Cheers

Mirrors fold in, I get mine through a 2100 doorway but always with someone guiding me. Currently looking at setting up 2 security cameras that link to the wifi, one looking down each side that I can monitor from my I phone as I back in .

Thanks
Doesn't sound very doable for me.

It's a ball ache and once it's in its virtually impossible to get out. I ended up renting an underground car parking space from a neighbour.

It's a real shame as I've been offered a good deal on one.
Have no intention of chopping the garage around just to fit a car I'll only keep for a couple of years...

Tell them you will only buy it if it fits in the garage and see if tegu will bring it round to see if it fits , not to much to ask

It's a 4 hour round trip... smile (tegu?)

As it is, popped into my local dealer and they offered, knowing I won't be buying a car off them as I can't afford what they have, to bring one over to me tomorrow to try it.

Bloody good show I think!

It is.

Looking at your profile pic (I recognise the location) is that your car in their car park?

Not sure as I didn't take the photo the dealer i purchased it from did. It was at variava last week for a service.

I know the dealer from the photo - they had a red one for sale too.

There's a White LE in Variavas car park today with the other dealers name on the reg plate.

Can I ask why you bought one from up here as opposed to the one down south nearer to you?

PM if you like.

(unless I've got the wrong end of the stick...)

Could i ask roughly what 'a good deal' on one of these is?

I keep coming back to them and wonder where they are actually trading, there are several for around £40k, and im wondering would a mid to high 30s bid be looked at?

Cheers

I'd been looking at the white LE from GVE London.
They offered me around £3k more than book for my car and reduced theirs down to £46k - it's been there a long time and is now classed as over stockage, so want it gone.

I think that's a good price now, especially for a 150 mile car.

I haven't taken it any further as I can't get one in my garage without a lot of titting about.
S I posted above, my local dealer bought one out to me and between me and the salesman we managed to get it in - just.

In reality, it won't work unless I change the garage door for an internal roller door - and that ain't going to happen for a car.
For reference, I can get our F80 M3 in the same garage quite comfortably...

As for prices, I reckon between £40 - £45k depending on what spec is now a sensible price to pay, and a few have now started to sell at this price.

The one at GVE really is a lovely car and the dealer also seems like a decent place.

Hey. Don't let the garage door put you off I've the same size and it goes in easy. I fold in the drivers mirror to help through the door. Once in that's when you need to be like Stretch Armstrong as getting out in a single garage if tight. I never tried one in my garage before I bought it I just hoped for the best lol.

As with most things if you want one decide what it's worth and bid accordingly , there's a lot who bought just to make money, lost and are trying to get out so you may be lucky. I feel values are close to the bottom and when production stops in a couple of years now may have been a good time to buy. If you are buying a low mileage one make sure it's been serviced, it's annual or 18000 miles, whichever a first and first service is about a grand

It's such a special car. Just love mine

I have a double garage with 2 single doors and mine just squeezes through. I fold the drivers mirror in though to be safe.

How many 4C owners on here then? I know of 4 of us so far...
