New Car- Integrale...
Discussion
Got a very interesting Integrale coming my way early next week. It is the same one I wrote an article on some time ago.
It is a 16V upgraded to EVO spec with EVO suspension including the wider track (and wings), it has has an uprated turbo in theory producing 280 bhp though to me it feels like less.. It was also featured in various articles years ago and driven by Vicky Butler Henderson for 5th Gear.
It is a high mileage car (130,000 kms) and is quite tatty in places but has has lots of money spent on mechanicals so should be a decent bet. First thing i want to do is fit some EVO Speedline wheels.

Not evo wings, but IMHO the 8/16v wings look better.
The Speedlines should look good, but you may need to play around with spacers.
Great cars, goes and handles very well.
Quite right! Asked a bit more info and apprently it does have the wider front end from the EVO which is why I assumed it would need the wider arches.. would the wider front suspension fit under the 16V arches? The Speedlines should look good, but you may need to play around with spacers.

Also it has an EVo engine retrofitted with bigger turbo.. again finer details a little sketchy but this is tyhrough a mate so fairly sure he's not going to try and shaft me.

Right so.. the original deal feel through when the cam belt broke and lunched a couple of valves. I then bought the Esprit instead.
6 months later it does look as if a deal is back on. My mate and owner of the Grale is interested in doing a PX for Sofia my Fiat 500 plus cash. He's coming round this weekend when we will probably shake on it.
In the meantime top end was rebuilt due to the cam belt failure, he fixed the problems with the fuel pump being needed to be switched on manually and has replaced the worn front seats.
So fingers crossed I will soon have this car!!
