Difficult to decide between snapping up a dealer demo one, registered november 16 and a new one...

A new one will have higher road tax, but you can't help but wonder if they might have resolved teething issues.

The demo has the spec I want bar Harmon Kardon. Anyone heard the standard system?

But the demo one is gorgeous and available imminently!

My dealer has a couple more cars coming pre April possibly. Could always call him tomorrow. Westover Sports Cars. Ask for Alex and say I sent you

The only "funny" mine has done was once flagging a shifter error, which immediately fixed itself. This was at 25 miles and hasn't happened again (450 miles later). Fingers crossed...

Good to hear, Yes Demo Car felt good, no rattles or quirks that I could notice. As you'd expect!

Also a bit at sea with regards to the colour, originally I thought blue, but then I saw Rosso Competizione which looks great, but on a new order £1750 is a lot and I could add a couple more options instead. I bet Alfa Red still looks good.

And then Black probably also looks mean!

I'd just like to thank you very much ecain63, for some good Pistonheads help!

I've ordered one from Westover, they had a car at just the right spec and registration will scrape in before the 1st of April tax changes.

Felt pretty terrible telling my local dealer that I had ordered from somewhere else, but this is one of the few that gets me in before the tax changes and is a lovely spec, couldn't turn it down.

Here is the spec:

Factory Options:
Tri-Coat Paint (Competizione Red): £1,458.33
Black Leather / Alcantara Sport Seats with Red Stitching: No Cost Option
Black Callipers: No Cost Option
19” Dark Finish 5 Hole Alloy Wheels: £291.67
Quadrifoglio leather / alcantara flat bottom steering wheel with carbon insert: £187.50
Electric Seat Pack: £791.67
Convenience Pack: £354.17
Sound Theatre by Harman Kardon Audio: £791.67

(EX VAT prices)

Just can't wait! Car is status 20 so should be here soon!

By the way, Dealers have apparently been told not to sell their Demo cars for at least 6 months from Delivery, so in this case they could not release the demo car until June 17.

Ben is a nice guy. He'll look after you.

I can foresee this being a complex conversation over 2 forums so I'll hop back across to AROCUK wink

Just had an invitation to attend a test day in the Quadrifoglio. Has anyone done this? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

Have been following this thread with interest - great to see such an exciting car from Alfa at last.

My question for you is: What are you predicting these to be selling for in 4 years?

Just ordered mine. Am I the only one specifying silver 5-hole alloys, because though they are on the configurator, the dealers is having to ask the factory about them?

Really? Exciting news if true. Is this going to be shown at Geneva?

Low numbers in the UK, so I'm going with ~35k.

Test drive booked for tomorrow.

I'll be driving over in the M3 to give a decent comparison.

Can't stop looking at the Stelvio pics though....
