Carwow showed me a similar, if slightly higher discount originally but when it came to it they withdrew it saying they weren't allowed to discount that much any more.
But the payments you've quoted come to less than the discounted price so bite their arm off!
did you go thru with it eventually? But the payments you've quoted come to less than the discounted price so bite their arm off!

What's the waiting time for these?
Will be changing our M3 in September, and whilst it's a long way off, we've been looking at the Macan GTS and I'd need to order now for possibly Sept / Oct delivery
Even an M3 Comp pack is around 20 weeks.
Taking the wife to look at the Guilin tomorrow.
They are quoting 10-12 weeks currently. Less than 100 will come to the UK in 2017 but there is no real queue currently. Will be changing our M3 in September, and whilst it's a long way off, we've been looking at the Macan GTS and I'd need to order now for possibly Sept / Oct delivery

Alfa UK. Less than 100 QVs to be registered in the UK in 2017. They also predict a production gap to allow the Stelvio model to get up and running.
It may be BS, but that came from the people at ARUK
Hhhmmm....i have heard this before eg.: when i was thinking of getting an M4.It may be BS, but that came from the people at ARUK
Salesman:"you better off buying our demo car as it will be around 3-4months waiting for a factory order"
This was in march 2013....fwd few months and you coud pretty much just buy one off thr dealers...diregarding spec mind you.
Im guessing BS.
They trying to hype up the car,and all reviews, journalist are praising it.i want one myself.
But i think this car speaks MOSTLY to true motorheads.
Avarage Joe who can afford something in the 60k-70k ballpark and likes to be considered wealthy is not going to buy an Alfa.they will stick with the germans....especially they might get somethin else even a 3 door if its a second, third car

What's the 100-200kpj and 60-130mph times for the stock dct M3? In the dry. Corrected.
In all fairness if you don't know the m3 times how can you say it's miles faster? It will edge it if have though and be more on par with the m5
Stock Fxx M3s are around 10s 100-200 in the dry. The W205 C63S is around 8s in the dry. For the QV to be 2s quicker than the M3 when wet tells me its miles quicker than the M3. The C63S is a worthy adversary.
M3 (431hp) 3.8/8.5/14.5
QF (510hp) 3.7/8.1/13.8
C63S(503hp) 3.8/8.3/14.0
QF and C63S are quicker but wouldn't say by miles, they are all in the 10s 60-130.
They are all so close on performance, it's more about what you like rather than which is quicker.

Car and driver have tested all three below are their 60/100/130 times they are pretty good at getting times out of performance cars.

I agree end of the day 0.5-1s over 60-130 sprint wouldn't be the decider for me.M3 (431hp) 3.8/8.5/14.5

The Alfa has made the m3 look dated to me already... think the Alfa would edge it for me but be a tough tough call
The M3 is dated compared to the Alfa.
I stepped out of our M3 into the Alfa for a drive and immediately thought the M interior too fussy, the steering not as good and the ride comfort so far behind the Alfa it may as well be in the last century.
I did think the M seats more of an occasion though, unless speccing the Carbon ones in the Alfa (which I couldn't justify cost wise).

Picked mine up this Saturday and I'm already smitten!
I've only done 300 miles so far, so trying to be a little restrained (so difficult!)
I'm besotted!
In short the suspension is the most pliant and comfortable of any super saloon I have driven. I have been borrowing my fathers 6.2 C63 while my BMW is mothballed and also have his C7 RS6 to compare to.
It's comfortable and refined, smooth etc day to day.
But then when you pick up the pace oh boy does it respond!
You can feel the relatively light weight and all the work that went in!
Super fast accurate steering and an engine that also amazes. It can run on three cylinder one minute for economy and then dish out the full 500bhp and 450lbft or so of torque.
I was worried it would sound a bit restrained, which is does day to day, but put in in race mode and the sound is much better than I had hoped for, it's lovely! A real baritone bark and lots of fun using the paddles.
Only downside so far are the brakes which are difficult to bring the car to a smooth standstill with (electronic drive by wire believe it or not!?)
I even like the sat nav and media system so far, something i was worried about when coming from BMW professional Nav. It works well, but is maybe lacking in a few extra features. Hopefully that will change a little with software updates, it may even get apple car play it seems.
Any doubters should go and drive one, this car is epic! and I get to drive it everyday with the minimum of compromises required. I would also say that you need to see one in the flesh if you're not convinced by the looks.
