Bit of a boring question, but I read that the car has 9k miles service intervals, anyone know if Alfa are offering servicing packs similar to MB AMG and BMW M?

Thanks
It's been talked about but no set details thus far.

Thames are offering 3 years fixed for 799. Can be added to finance agreement or paid for anytime before first service I believe.

3 years serving for £799? Sounds really cheap. I'll have an ask.

I like the way Alfa have integrated their system into the dash, rather than those cheap looking tablets that are stuck on. Does anyone actually like them, just ruins the lines of the interior..

Good luck to those getting one soon, after test driving one, I do feel they are rather special..

Does anyone have any idea of what sort of residuals they might expect at year 1 2 or 3.
Anyone who thinks its worth a quid in a year please dont bother to reply.

I actually really really hope and wish they bring out this veloce edition to the UK, I have a funny feeling they will but after a while to not take any lime light at all off the flagship model:

Not an expert but my two pennies worth...

I expect Alfa will be quoting their own figures but going on the press the car is getting globally i suspect at least on the Quadrifoglio variant assuming no major common issues arise they will be quite strong.

Best way to look at it is that in comparisons against its direct competitors most professional reviewers, magazines etc globally state that it is a fantastic all rounder and is better as an everyday car than its rival the M3 but yet faster on a track.

So personally i would set it at a similar % level to the M3 at this point. It may even hold value better depending on build numbers as the M3 has M status which help its residuals but it is built in such large numbers its no longer that unique or hard to find a good example a few years down the road.

The Giulia looks set to be built in smaller numbers and is a watershed moment for Alfa which could make it a "classic" which will prop up its value further.

Looking at Autocar they reckon a manual 2016/17 M3 will hold around 51.7% residual after 3 years. I suspect the Quadrifoglio will be around the same or higher. I would even gamble on around 65% after 3 years assuming no major issues with build or reliability.

As a side note my local alfa dealer are being very odd. They have stunning red Quadrifoglio in their showroom which is right on a major road yet you cannot see when you drive past. Instead its tucked away on the main floor and instead they have 2 or 3 new Jeeps parked in the street window.

If i was the dealer I would have the Giulia front and centre on the street window for all to see???

Have been told that on the leasing side, these are roughly the same price as an M3, but the Alfa with a 15% discount included.

Guess a lot depends on how reliable they are, but more importantly how dealerships deal with any problems, and I am really trying to not be negative, (we have four Fiats in our family fleet) none of which have ever been near a main dealer. Having said that neither have the Audis as their dealerships are probably even worse than Fiat. I think Alfa need to try and create a "premium brand" mind set in their Dealers, and probably separate them from Fiat dealerships if they havn't already done so. I go back to my previous statement about most of the Alfa Dealerships in Scotland are Arnie's and I for one would never contemplate buying anything as expensive as this from him. I really do hope they are a success as I am a huge Italian car fan and would love to see them succeed with this one.

Just read this back and I guess I just hate main dealers..so buy your car from a broker and get it serviced/fixed at a good indie!!

It's a beautiful car, but it'll depreciate like any other 4 door Italian I expect.

My PCP deal shows gfv @ £22k after 3 years, doing 12k miles a year. That's well over 50% . The salesman gave it the "it'll be worth a lot more, don't worry" but I bought a Quattroporte new in 2006 and heard the exact same story. That went from £90k to £27k in 3 years.

I've heard order books aren't overly full either, if they start giving discounts in 6 months, that'll really screw those of us who've joined the club early.
