Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio - Anyone Ordering One

Just had an invitation to attend a test day in the Quadrifoglio. Has anyone done this? If so, what are your thoughts on it?
I did this at the end of January, just two weeks before mine was delivered. If this is the same format you will get 90 minutes in the car 1-to-1 with a professional driver, and you basically get free run of several of the Millbrook test areas. It´s good fun, and the coffee is great!

That's great, thanks. Bizarrely I might have to rearrange, as it coincides with a day at the MX track on a track I've been itching to try for a few years now. I'm pleased to have the practicality of the 4 door that truly does drive like a sportscar.
Is the driving day for those who have ordered?
or those who are looking?
I was told it was was confirmed QV customers only.Is the driving day for those who have ordered?

Reality is I dont want to attend the event if it will deny an owner or those who have placed an order or will be shortly the ability to attend.

You are misinformed. I have received an invite even though I have not placed an order as have expressed an interest. Thinking of sending them an email and advising that its not yet within my financial means and asking whether I would be able to attend anyway if its not oversubscribed by those who have have placed orders.

I'm in a similar position, although I can afford one, I want to drive one before spending £66000 on one. My local dealer won't do test drives, so I've said any sale is dependant on this visit. Popped into another dealer in kent and they had sold their only QF. Apparently wasnt a demo car???
Was also given the enjoyment of hearing an Alfa 4c for the first time. A chap had just picked up his spider and was taking it home. Holy hell did it sound good for a car with such a little engine.
The March 4th date is a watered down version of the 'Welcome To The Brand' day for those who have ordered or taken delivery of the QV. It's for customers just looking at the Giulia range and who need a bit of help to place an order. You do get a driving session in a few cars but it's not the same as the QV customers day. The next one of those is late April. I'll be there as will a few of you. You just don't know it yet.

Not doing test drives!?
Most dealers have a demo I think....
Mine was happy to let me have a go and it resulted in an order, the car is that good!
Mine has a nice shiny one in the showroom, that I could sit in and a 180bhp diesel version that they were happy for me to take out. I'm not spending that kind of money on a car, by sitting in it and making vroom, vroom noises though Most dealers have a demo I think....
