That just looks stunning. The more I see these the more I like them. May I ask, for those that have driven them a throttle related question. My pet hate on modern cars is the 'feel' of fly-by-wire throttles. It was bad on the later 156 when they introduced the JTS engines. And it is bad on the latest 3-series petrol engines I've driven. I just can't stand the feeling of not having your foot directly connected to the engine.
How does it feel on this?
The QV feels light, pointy and incredibly focussed. As per a Ferrari I suppose

Having driven cars with both I can definitely say that the carbon seats are the better option. I drove 350 miles on Monday night and got out without a single twinge (I had a Golf R before and couldn´t say the same about that).
Really? Have you done 350 miles on the standard seats in one drive too then?I drove both also. I found the standard sports seats had bigger, and deeper bolsters than the carbon seats, so held you in better. Also the bolsters were electrically adjustable in width, so you could actually get them to hold you more snug, than on the carbon seats which had fixed width bolsters. That plus the obvious benefits of the comfort access on the electric seats, with memory, and seat heating.
I stand by the fact that the carbon seats look better (at least from the front - they're quite ugly from behind IMO, with a square, boxy design), but that the standard seats are more supportive, and with the electric pack offer far more comfort, for less money.

Most likely a demo if it had black callipers.
Odd thing to say.I've ordered black ones as they go with the dark wheels ive also order. The red calipers are a different red to the Competizione Red and the yellow don't really match with a red and black car. All my personal opinion and taste of course. It would be very dull if we all chose the same things!
I have comp red paint, dark 5 hole wheels, and black calipers. It was already ordered, if I had the choice I would have gone with red calipers.
If I had a black car I think yellow calipers would be my choice, but not with red.
But I've heard it looks good. Really I think it's hard to order an ugly one of these colour wise.

Very few of these cars are on the road with most still awaiting arrival. Of the cars registered a good dozen are dealer demos. All have black callipers.
Most of the cars already delivered to the public that have appeared on forums have coloured callipers.
Wasn't so much a sweeping statement, more a calculated guess.
Not offended in the least.
As I say, it would be boring if we all wanted the same thing and it's nice to have a choice of 3 different colour calipers.
Nice choice urquattroGus!
Vesuvio Grey with yellow calipers would look nice as well as black and possibly blue. White with red calipers would be great (as per the one Clarkson reviewed on GT). The rest probably black calipers but it is an individual style thing.

I've heard from my dealer that a significant number of QFs are in 'quality block' . They are 2017 produced cars, mine is one of them , no timings as yet and little info- not sure what the quality block root cause is.....
Whatever it is its good they have caught the issue and are addressing it pre delivery.frankenstein12 said:
