I've heard from my dealer that a significant number of QFs are in 'quality block' . They are 2017 produced cars, mine is one of them frown, no timings as yet and little info- not sure what the quality block root cause is.....
Not sure if related but the week long demo we had in went into some sort of emergency engine management mode on Saturday (so two and a bit days in), initially would only rev to 4k and was telling me (rather sternly) to get it to an Alpha garage quick sharp. Called FCA UK and they organised for it to be collected ASAP (with a second week long demo coming in on Friday).

I don't know exactly what it was but think it could have been overheating/radiator related.

Was a 66 plate with nearly 5k miles on it so I imagine it was one of the first.

You've already stated you aren't buying one, yet you've arranged another week long demo?

What spec is your car? What options?
Just seeing if there's a common theme and if it may affect my car.
Mine is showing as status code 20 (built, at factory). What's yours?

cheap motoring.
The week after he's at Audi for a weeks' test of something or other...

or within that week he uses the Alfa "as his" to secure a week long test drive in a Maserati... which he then takes to secure a Ferrari and so on...

You get the idea! An Infiniti actually but nothing to write home about (I now seem to get bored of cars very quickly!)....

Anyway, I really liked the Quadrifoglio (for the few days it worked) so of course I'll accept another go! It really does feel like a step up from something like an M4.

On the subject of feel, don't you feel like a time waster?

not really, I love driving different cars.... If you want me to share the love then I'm NW based (much like the original Purple Aki) if you fancy a spin?.... unless you're the real Purple Aki in which case maybe not....

I'm NW based and can't get an accompanied test drive, let alone a loan for a week. I also have the cash in my bank account waiting to buy one. Who is the loan with please?

Yeah I'm not surprised with retail. There not much I can do really but email me your details to simo1863@outlook.com and I'll see what I can do.

As for custard, I'll take one tomorrow but this was the one that was returned earlier in the week:

email sent. I'm not quite as "retail" as you'd imagine.

Same: currently at 20, although this afternoon heard that it is at the docks for shipping on Sunday. Once it loaded it should move to 35 (in transit). To get here I did have to escalate at the dealer who in term escalated at Alfa UK to get my car moving along with some other UK QFs.

It's Comp Red, Red/Black Interior, Carbon Seats, Yellow Calipers, Steering Wheel, HK Stereo, Dark Teledials

Someone on the Alfaowner forum posted an almost identical post to you. The only 2 posts I've seen that refer to this I have to say. The only options he had the same as you were the colour, wheels, steering wheel and HK audio as far as i can tell.
Mine went to status 20 on Tuesday so I'm hoping they'll get mine on a boat this weekend too.
Fingers crossed!

Wow car makers are really taking the pass with the "Options" lists these days.

You have to tick a box and pay extra just to get a steering wheel with the car. 😉
