Alfa Romeo Scuttle Panel
Discussion
Evening all,
Need some help please.....I have and '88 S3 Alfa Spider Veloce. One of the washer jets has sheared off and although I have a replacement I'm not sure
how to remove the scuttle panel. I take it the washer arms need to come off first and the the 4 screws at the front of the panel need to be removed but it looks like it slips quite tightly under the windscreen and I'm worried there's more going on under there than I'm ready for. Is it that easy or should I take it to a pro?
Any ideas?
Cheers
Otto

If you want massive detail on this, check on alfabb - there's step by step instructions with pictures for pretty much every job you'll ever do on an Alfa Spider.
Quick answer is it's really simple. Remove the wipers (and possibly some bits of the wiper mounts) and the bolts along the front edge, lift the front a couple of inches and pull. If you need to replace any of the clips that go under the windscreen (I think there are 7 in total) then classicalfa and others have them as stock items.
