Car hire- Majorca/Mallorca. Who did you use/recommend?

I got recommended this place and used it while visiting majorca last year. Extremely happy with it. No fuel nonsense, cheap, no frills.
The cars are not brand new but only a few year old. They park them at the airport for your arrival and send you instructions on where to find them and their keys. They just expect you to return them with similar amount of fuel when done, no queueing up on service desks or waiting for inspections. As good as it gets really.

Coincidentally my wife and I just booked a family holiday to Majorca for October. I was idly wondering about hiring a car to tour the island in for a day of sight seeing, and this seems ideal. Just over €50 for a Focus estate for the day isn't half bad! Thanks for the link.I got recommended this place and used it while visiting majorca last year. Extremely happy with it. I've never used them but have seen various cars of there's about the resort, no excess and fuel policy a wide range of cars too. Some dented, some not.

Absolutely +1 on this, I used them in the past and very good, last time OH booked a car from an airport operator, absolute shambles 75 minute queue, sudden extras, charged for more fuel than the car could possibly take 120 euros.I got recommended this place and used it while visiting majorca last year. OH booked something that seemed cheaper but really wasn't, security had to be called as various germans were walking to front of the queue when us brits had been waiting over an hour, after a flight and with a sprog not what you want. I still have deep seated hatred for the company involved.
They had six "stations" to serve customers only two were manned while other staff were lolling around chatting. I got hold of the manager as he was leaving and asked him if he thought they should all be there trying to turn things round quicker and got laughed at. I wish I could remember the name of the firm

I am pretty sure I have used these guys in the past. Great service, car wasn't new, but as I recall they said something like "we're binning it at the end of your hire, so do what you like"...we had great fun off-roading in a Seat Ibiza!I got recommended this place and used it while visiting majorca last year. Just checked my reservation email:
Booked 5 days on May 2015, paid 196 euros for a corsa.

I use www.doyouspain.com which are an agent.
8 days in Mallorca in June 2015 cost me £65 for a one series. Yes, £65! Went to Mallorca in July this year so obviously things are a bit more expensive all round. Ended up with a brand new (13kms on the clock) Clio which cost me about £100 for the ten days. Think there was about £20 on top of that for excess waiver insurance rather than take that out with the provider.
Clio came from Goldcar which is getting slated above. No problem here. Returned the car with full tank and refunded the pre-payment within a couple of days.

Van-r..ell have been good so far. Maybe because ive not had an issue
The first car, a Corsa was battered and thankfully you are allowed to pay cash upfront. I dont think id give my car details. I swapped sameday yesterday for a Panda as i cant drive/feel safe in small Vauxhalls. I drove to Pont de Formenta today and I can hear disc on disc when braking. Made an interesting trip on that road.. just the fear at the back of my mind.
So- its been ok but on hand back. You park up at the airport and the car isnt inspected. So id recommend them but...dont book with card details..and check the car. The Corsa also had a faulty tyre pressure sensor.
