Looks like an E27 base but Googling "Twin e27 lamp base" doesn't throw up anything that looks identical.

You can get a Y-shaped 2 way splitter but I've never seen anything like that. Cannibalise a cheap Ikea fitting maybe - they use the screw type fittings a lot?

The reason I need it like this is because I want to run a cable from a ceiling rose to a fitting like this. I then need the cable to carry on to another similar fitting lower down. It's for lighting a three storey stairwell and I don't want lots of cables dangling from the ceiling to separate fittings.

They also have a triple bulb version http://www.lightinthebox.com/e27-triadic-lamp-hold... which I think is a bit more decorative.

Depends on what look you're after.
