Alfa specialist near Petersfield
Discussion
Hello, looking for recommendations for an Alfa specialist in or near the Petersfield area.
Need an MoT test and service on a 916 GTV and the inevitable fixes (rear brakes always being the MoT man's favourite failure point).
Prior to that I'm trying to convince the alarm system that I'm not stealing it after the battery went flat... Then to find the right area to lubricate so it'll select 3rd & 4th gear again, always handy!

I have to admit I do work here http://www.classicsbyjswl.co.uk/ is it a 2 litre regarding the gearbox fault?
Thanks.
It's the V6, and feels like a cable being stiff rather than anything internal thankfully.
Once I've charged the battery and got it started I'll decide what to do, hopefully it won't need recovering to be fixed (again)!
Was looking at these chaps after having a little search:

Don't know them but I can also vouch for Laurence at Autolusso Bournemouth - really nice guy and very honest . Probably a similar distance the other way from bianco-alfa for you. It's the V6, and feels like a cable being stiff rather than anything internal thankfully.

Not far from you is Mike Roberts at The Alfa Shed, aka The Maserati Shed. Very knowledgeable about Alfa, Fiat and Maserati, and also reasonably priced.
Another vote for Mike from me and agree with all of the comments above, he has eased back on Alfa now though as the Maserati work seems to take most of his time. Well worth giving him a ring, he is a guru on the 916. Gassing Station | Alfa Romeo, Fiat & Lancia | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
