A local dealership is offering a cracking deal on these and I'm just wondering if anyone has any experiences with them?
Can't seem to find too many reviews online.

Between myself and my OH we have a herd of German and Jap RWD cars so it's a bit different from what I'm used to rolleyes
Looking to downside the herd that costs me a small fortune every month and replace it with something that I don't have to worry about buying new parts for constantly.

Thanks!
Jen

My dealer gave me one (Competizione) as a bit of fun before ordering the Guillia QV. Great fun at low speeds but I felt it stressed on the motorway. Could do with an extra gear. Great interior with the carbon seats etc. I did some vbox testing in it and it is pretty much bang on quoted figures for 0-60 and 0-100

I used to have a Turisimo ( swopped my 420bhp Audi RS4 for it) but I changed it for a 595 Competizione - which I absolutely love - it has Sabelt bucket seats, supersprint (?) exhaust, koni suspension, brembo brakes - sounds great and like driving a go kart, it's absolutely fantastic and ( in my opinion) streets ahead of the Turisimo. The only thing I'd swop mine for is a full on Biposto but I can't get my bike in the back because of the roll bar !

Ask your dealer to do a deal on the Competizione instead !

I also have a 595 Competizione and there's also Roystino on here we have identical ex demonstrators. 180bhp, just over a ton, mechanical LSD and lots of carbon trim and seats. A great car with a heavy right foot and some traffic I managed a round trip from Portsmouth to Epping and back averaging 41mpg which I'm impressed with.

The only thing I'm annoyed with is as soon as I got my car Arnold Clark put up a few 695's for not much more which I would have gone for.

Main difference between the Turismo and Competizione is the engine map, ride height and the seats right?

The Compo with Sabelt seats looks absolutely awesome by the way

The turbo is swapped from a IHI to a Garrett different map, suspension is changed upfront to KONI FSD (the rears already are I believe) the seats are sabelt (performance pack gets them layered in carbon) Monza exhaust and Brembo brakes.

Fiar play on the suspension exhaust and brakes, but abarth.com lists the gt 1446 for both the Turismo and Compo. Its the regular 595 that has an IHI

Love it in the red! I actually work for AC, not in sales right enough but hoping I'll get an even better deal with my discount.

Hmmm now I am leaning towards the Competizione instead, planning on visiting the Abarth dealership tomorrow and hopefully get a test drive and I can go from there smile

So it is!

Also the older cars were a quick fix away from big BHP upgrades. Speaking to bluespark and they're having injection issues when upping the power of the new euro6 cars but an injection fix is on the way apparently?

I have had a Abarth since 2009. In January i will pick up my new 595 Turismo. The reason i went for this over the compitizione is it is slightly more luxury orientated, as it has the full leather and height adjustable drivers seat where as the Sabelts sit to high imo plus 165hp is fine for what i need it for.

Very nice!

What abarth do you have now? a regular 500? Does the 595 Turismo feel much faster? (assuming you test drove it)

Test drove a Turismo today and loved it, so I'm putting a deposit down on a pre-reg Competizione tomorrow bounce

They didn't have a Competizione to test drive so had to take the Turismo out which was great fun, but couldn't turn down the amazing offer on the Competizione. It's a '66 plate in white with the red pack, which wouldn't be my first choice but OH runs a vinyl wrapping company so it's not a huge deal. Really like the bi-tone ones so might try that! Providing all goes well, I could have it as early as Friday cloud9
