I've not heard anything, like others I've paid a deposit but do not have any written confirmation only the quotation. Not sure what to think - really want a 4c now, like everyone else spent quite a bit of time looking at reviews and getting all excited about the prospect of owning one!

Did anyone that had paid the 1k deposit get any confirmation today that their deal is still going ahead? If Alfa has pulled Unity's dealer contribution I wonder if these will still be honoured?
Did you not get an emailed "customer order" and/or Hire Agreement from FCA?

I paid the £1000 deposit & then received the order confirmation, which I then signed and returned. Lauren then confirmed receipt.
I'm hoping all is OK.

No, not had any email correspondence as yet.

I went there on Saturday 1pm, drove the car, paid deposit, Lauren had to run credit checks etc so I left at that point. I got a call back at 5pm to say all went through ok, but not heard anything since.

I think somebody may have been having a little fun at our expense with the alternative dealer claim . .

Attempted to discuss my situation with Alfa. Lauren is apparently off (as she was Monday - too busy to discuss anything yesterday) whilst her other colleagues aren't being too forthcoming.

They did say that it isn't looking good for anybody though . .

I hope everyone paid their deposits on credit cards...

I hope this doesn't turn into another Jeep Grand Cherokee fiasco.

It's looking increasingly likely IMO.

How many of us actually put down a deposit?

After liaising with Lauren all day Saturday and Friday, I asked for a form on Saturday evening before I would pay the deposit - communication then suddenly dropped and I've not been able to get in touch since.

Was that through Unity?

I paid my deposit 2nd of March. Unity are potentially going to have quite a few disgruntled customers! Very unprofessional for a main dealer, especially as they have taken peoples money.

I know it's not fair to compare a PCP to a PCH however the figures do, in hindsight and in comparison, look much too good to be true.

A rubbish situation for those who paid a deposit though. frown

(
There are many examples in the main lease thread where PCH is much cheaper than PCP.
A PCH 20-25% of RRP is quite common.

I spent too long deliberating, although possibly for the best if they're found to have resorted to overselling.

If they've issued order forms, hire agreements and taken deposits then I struggle to see how they could then back out.

I never received the Hire Agreement. Unless it's in the post box
