Giulia QV Ceramic brakes
Discussion
They are awesome brakes, but bear in mind they need temperature in them before they start to work properly. The Alfa ones in particular are bad, I remember the first time I drove a Giulia with ceramics and couldn’t believe how poor the brakes were until they’d been used a bit. Once you know you’ll make allowances. Perhaps they improved this for the later cars, my experience was of the very first cars.
Also note the cost of replacement was about £12k for a full set 5 or 6 years ago, so more now. If you’re buying new then that shouldn’t be an issue, but worthy of consideration.
